Wonderland…was really amazing. Every time it was different except of course one thing always remained constant. The Red Queen, the White Queen, the Queen of Hearts, the Duchess and many other examples. Yes, monarchy and the aristocratic class were truly alive and well in Wonderland. Perhaps it was time to introduce a bit of democracy? Get a few rights for the people? And animals, plant life, eggs, etcetera, of course.
It was an idea, she'd have to remember it but in the meantime perhaps she'd better check where she was. Alice had been so absorbed in her ruminations (she had a tendency to withdraw from the world) she hadn't yet had time to make a reconnaissance of the landscape.
'Stop talking to yourself and get on with it' said the Other Alice (sometime croquet opponent and permanent residence in Alice's head) so Alice stuck her tongue out at herself and got on with it.
