I'd thought the ground would be much harder. And cold. But instead it was just the opposite. I looked up and saw my angel staring down at me, anger in her eyes.

"What were you thinking!? My god, just give me a heart attack. Seriously are you crazy?" She demanded of me.

I felt her hug me closer, her arms stronger and harder than I remembered.

My Max. Forever and Always. Two pieces of a whole. A jigsaw.

"I'm home." I sighed at last.

"No you're not! You just jumped off a freaking cliff!" She raved at me.

"I wanted to be with you Max. Heaven or Hell, life or death." I promised.

"Well we're in the world in-between called EARTH." She emphasized.

"But y-y-y-you're dead!" I stuttered. So un-Fang-like.

"Yeah I was." She sighed sadly.

"Why the hell did you put me through that? The flock? Or was this you're way of trying to get attention?" I flung at her.

"Well we don't need you!!" I screamed, hurt that she would do this.

Tears filled hear eyes. Max turned and started walking down the shore, her small frame shaking.

That small action was like an icy dagger in my heart.
