Chapter 2

"Wow! I haven't had a moments peace since our last picnic," Susan said to Caspian. It was too true, ever since the picnic with Lucy, every one was preparing for Caspian and Peter to take a small army to keep the giants on their side. Susan had finally been able to sneak in a few minutes free with Caspian before he left.

"I'm sorry that your two favourite boys are leaving, me and Peter, but we want to keep the giants on their side of the valley," Caspian told her.

"I know, but," Susan said then resisted before saying,"Be extremely careful. Once I almost lost Edmund and that was really over whelming."

"Don't worry Susan,"Caspian replied, "After we come back, we are going to build a glorious ship and take a cruise."

"But I thought that we were going to search for or avenge the deaths of your father's best men of whom your uncle Miraz banished from here," Susan questioned.

"Oh yes," Caspian added, "I forgot. Oh I forgot another thing; we have to is stop slave trading through all of Narnia, on our voyage we shall stop it on the lone islands if they do any slave trading."

"Okay," Susan said sadly before changing, "mmm who made this apple pie it's delicious!"

"I did," Caspian said the next words in a worried tone, "but I thought you wouldn't like it because—"

"Why wouldn't I like it Caspian?" Susan explained, "it is the best tasting pie I've ever had."

"Thanks Susan," Caspian said relived, "it was my first time baking too!"

"Well I think you are a most wonderful cook," complimented Susan.

"Thanks Again," Caspian replied looking a little embarrassed.

They had been having a quiet lunch and now they had just finished the pie that Caspian made and were sitting down looking at the glorious ocean with the sun setting behind it.

"So Caspian, what are we going to do after we finish our search for the lost lords?" Susan questioned.

"We are going to get married," Caspian said.

"WHAT?" Susan said surprised, "why?"

"Wait I'll tell you later," Caspian told her, "but first, will you marry me?"

"Yes I will but after our next adventures," Susan said enthusiastically, "goodnight Caspian, I'm going to bed." She ended with lots of yawns for the sun had long gone down.
