Stephenie Meyer owns all

The sun was shining on the special meadow today. All the purple, yellow, and white flowers surrounded us and the grass was a brilliant green. Rainbows reflected off of my vampire skin.

Bella's hand brushed across my arm, examining each little facet as if I would suddenly disappear. Awed with the display of colors, her mouth turned into an "o" and her eyes grew wide. I could stare into her eyes for forever. It felt as if I could get lost in the depths of her beauty.

When she caught me admiring at her, she blushed a lovely shade of scarlet and smiled up at me shyly.

We were sitting in the flowers and she was placed on my lap. I wrapped my arms around her and inhaled her warm, lavender scent.

"What are you staring at?" she asked. Her voice was like music.

"You" I admitted.

"What about me?" Her brow puckered. I had the strangest urge to take my finger and smooth the "v" out.

"You're beautiful." I said simply, "I was just enjoying you're presence."

This made her blush even redder.

I groaned internally at the burn that ignited in my throat. What wouldn't I give to be human? If I were like her, I wouldn't have to mind my every move and I could give her everything she deserves: a future, a life, and children…

I didn't deserve her. Every day I ask myself how she picked me. I will be forever grateful of whatever made her want me. I am nothing but a monster. I can't help but wonder when she will realize this and go running for the hills.

Run, Bella, run! You aren't safe here.

An adorable giggle interrupted my thoughts.

Her warm hand placed itself on my cold cheek. Her face was so close to mine, just merely inches away. My entire body ached for her to come closer. Her hot breath brushed across my face and my head began to swirl. She was so intoxicating…

"Well…I was just thinking the same thing about you."

I closed my eyes to enjoy her tantalizing scent more.

"That's ridiculous…" I mumbled, to distracted by her proximity. I felt a strand of her hair brush my neck as the wind blew gently past us. Heaven.

"Nonsense, you're the most beautiful thing in my world." It sounded as if she were gloating.

"Silly girl, the way you regard me is ludicrous. You love me much more than I deserve." I opened my eyes and leaned in closer. Her brown orbs were practically hypnotic.

"Nuh uhh" She mumbled, her lips brushing mine.

"Hush" and our lips connected.

The kiss started out slow, but slowly building. My entire body felt as if it were on fire. There was beauty; there was radiance. She sighed and her warm, moist mouth opened. I deepened the kiss. The sun was shining directly on us. We both saw red under our eyelids.

Yes, I thought, definitely heaven.
