uzmaki naruto, adopted son of iruka umino sat apon a large oak tree and sighed. sasuke uchiha, bearer of the sharingan looked up at the blond with a look of concern apon his face. he hadn't heard a word from the blond since he arrived for training this morning (of course with kakashi turning up late they always squeezed in practice before he arrived). sakura haruno, oblivious to sasukes concern for the boy, yelled for the blond to come down so 'her' sasuke could beat him again. naruto didn't even saw sakura leaping up to hit him for his 'insolence' and grabbed her in mid leap, and pushing her away. she looked shocked at the raven haired uchiha as he turned to face her, anger mingling with worry for the uzumaki.
"cant you see he's depressed? are you really that thick? just leave him be!" he growled, causing sakura to flinch.
"but sasuke-kun" she pleaded, but sasuke had already jumped up the oak to see what was troubling his friend. The blond wasn't looking so good. He was pale and kept muttering to himself. sasuke waved a hand infront of his face, the blond didn't react at all. the young uchiha frowned in frustration. 'whats wrong with you naruto?' sasuke thought as he sat next to the blond, incase he couldn't hold himself up any longer.
a poof sound was heard from the clearing, announcing kakashi-senseis arrival. at the sound, naruto jumped up, practicly beaming happyness. 'so it has something to do with kakashi-sensei' sasuke thought as he followed the blond who was racing to the clearing.
the clearing
a tall, silver-haired man stood, babling to sakura,who was in tears at sasukes rejection. as he spotted a blond blur followed by a black blur ,curses being shot between them both. the jounin sighed.
