Destroy From Within
Disclaimer: I don't own Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
It had been a pretty quiet night on patrol, which was too bad because Buffy had some major aggression to get out. That's probably why she came down so hard on the vampires she did find. She beat them bloody before turning them to dust.
"You know B, if you keep that up you'll end up like me." Buffy heard the voice of Faith behind her, but when she turned around no one was there.
"Faith, where are you?" Buffy called, but no one answered. Buffy looked all around the area for Faith but found no trace of her. Buffy wanted to stay out later but she knew if she did Dawn would worry. She decided it might just be best to go home and tell Angel that Faith had escaped her prison. So she did and Angel told her he'd check but he was almost certain she was still locked away.
It was early the next morning when Angel called "Buffy" he said "I'm not sure what you heard but Faith hasn't left the prison."
