"I just thought of this idea...I don't know if it makes any sense but oh well...
SUMMARY: Callie had a baby and is worried it's Brandon's...iot could ruin the whole adoption...one shot thing
"So I hold in my hand the results of the genetic testing" Steph said.
"What if it is Brandon's? What will happen?" Callie asked.
"No matter what it saids we will always love and take care of you. He probably isn't the father. They don't look anything alike." Lena said reassuringly.
"You guys ready?" Steph asked.
"Yes" the both said at the same time.
"Uh oh...that face doesn't look promising" Lena said now very worried.
"Callie...he...he's...Brandon's." Steph was in complete shock and now slightly in tears.
"We should call Brandon at Idyllwild." Callie said."
"We should call Mike too and tell him the...surprising news." Lena said.
"I think Callie, Brandon, Mike, Momma and I should all have a discussion about what could happen or what to do if they don't let Callie and the baby stay." Steph said.
A few hours Later Steph, Lena, Mike, Brandon, and Callie are talking
"So what will happen to Callie then?" Brandon asked.
"Well they will stop the adoption, and will take her out of the home. Probably put her back in the system." Lena said.
"What about the baby?" Brandon then asked.
'Depends...he will either be put in the system or they will send him to live with a family member." Steph said.
"But we are his family. He can't stay with us?" Brandon asked.
"Probably not.. he will probably go to someone in Callie's family like Robert." Mike said.
"That's not fair!" Brandon said as he got up angrily.
"Brandon where are you going?" Steph asked...but no answer.
"Here can you hold him? I'll go talk to Brandon." Callie said handing the baby to Mike.
"I'll go too." Lena said running after Callie.
"Steph he really does look like Brandon...reminds me of the first time I held him." Mike said.
"Yea but we had no idea what the hell we were doing having a kid that young." Steph said.
Flashback Steph is 19, Mike is 20
(Mike's POV)
"Come on Steph...on more big push!" Dr. Bentley said.
Steph let out an ear piercing shriek, and then the room went silent only for a minute.. then the sound of a baby's cry filled the room.
"Hi baby boy...I'm your daddy...Steph look at him...he's perfect..." I was almost in tears looking at my beautiful son.
"I hope he is smarter than us when he's our age." Steph said.
End of flashback
"I can't believe he's a father at 18..." Mike said.
"I know...I guess he was just as clueless as we were at that age. I'm sure he'll be a great father...like you" Steph said.
"I hope so..." Mike said.
