A/N - This poem is a favorite of mine because it expressed how I felt when I wrote it. I was a
stupid Sevvie, knowing nothing of lockers, seven classes and teachers and um I was friendless.
Yes, I truly had exactly zero friends. I am fine now but this poem is special so please read it and
love it with all your heart!
I am Friendless . . . or am I
I am alone
I feel the eyes of thousands, watching me as I hide.
The dawn is rising in the sky
the world is passing me by.
The others leave, I knew they would
so, who is this, staring at me now?
She has green eyes, her hair to match,
her cheeks are rosy, soft and pink
as she flushes under my curious gaze.
She comes to me, so meek and shy,
inviting me to join her fun.
We are the ones, inseparable
We play and dance and skip and run
laughing as the evening comes
The sun is going down, as she sings her last goodbye
a song that seems familiar yet how isn't clear.
Saria
Saria, I say it once more to see if it was real
as she walks away into the shuddering darkness
a light above her head
and as she sinks into the night I know not all is lost
I feel inside my heart,
that we will never end.
