Author's Notes: There are supernatural shows, and then there are shows that actually could happen. Although there are several fine examples of the first kind, Bones is not one of them. So what was with that scene at the end of The Headless Witch in the Woods? This is a possible explanation for what could've happened there:
In the darkness of Angela Montenegro's office at the Jeffersonian Medico-Legal Lab, a figure crept towards the computer. He checked his watch – Angela, refilling her coffee cup, wouldn't return to the restoration for at least another two minutes. Pulling a set of instructions, easily scammed out of a resident computer technician, out of his pants pocket, the figure opened Angela's software, called up the file labeled "Witch Hunt Video," and quickly added one extra tidbit to the already-frightening segment of film.
Five minutes later, Angela and Hodgins stared intently at the computer screen. Angela's brown eyes widened as she noticed the…reflection…in the shape of a floating woman in the background. A cold chill ran down her spine as she turned to the man next to her.
"Can I stay at your place tonight?" she asked.
She was afraid, and she needed him. "Sure," he said.
Hodgins smiled secretly to himself.
Mission Accomplished.
