A/N - This was one of my earliest poems, as you can see it is very bad. However, I like it. It is about the vision Zelda has that she tells like of, the one she saw him in.

A Vision, a Dream, or a Fantasy

As I lay down, a subject to the world of dreams

I feel a presence that shouldn't be,

A being of pure evil power, making me struggle in my slumber.

I fight and do not win the battle, as he takes my chimera,

It rolls down a sloping hill, lost forevermore, in the wake of the wind. . . .

I see Hyrule, as bright as ever, laughing in it's merriment,

I lay down in the singing grass, looking at the clouds,

until I see a single cloud, rolling in the sky.

Its color black, it grows and grows, engulfing others in it's wake.

I stand up tall and scream in terror, as it comes to me nearer and nearer,

Then, as if I saw a sign, a shaft of light, so pure, appeared,

coming from the forest's depths, it shines with all it's might.

I run towards it, to find my sanctuary when I see it there.

A small figure walking forward, closer to me, nearer and nearer.

I take a step back, in fear of death, though there is no reason,

for the figure is but a boy, holding out a stone to me.

The stone is green, it's light so lucid, so clear,

with golden curves like the late summer sun, rippling with the wave of my hand,

behind the boy a bobbing light, a spherical ball of life,

A fairy, I thought, the dark cloud closing in.

I reach out to touch the one, lone boy in front of me,

Yet, as I do, the world around me dissolves in a flush of swirling colors . . . .

I shoot up in my silken bed, sweat pouring out from my soul,

I had had a vision! Hyrule was in danger yet what could I do?

The world around me, will all be gone, just as the morning breaks,

Dawn will come, the reign of terror, as foretold in ecstasy.
