A/N: Hey guys. I had this idea and decided to write it down. I am having some writer's block on the sequel to You and Me, so give me some time please. I promise you will have the first chapter soon. :)

Disclaimer: I own nothing!

"Really? If I did not know any better, I would say that you were messing with me." Ziva rolled her eyes and jotted something down on a piece of paper.

Across the bullpen, Tony watched curiously. Who is she talking to? What did she write down? If only Gibbs hadn't given us all this paperwork… After all, years of having a ninja for an partner had to rub off on him at some point, right?

"Thank you. Shalom." Ziva hung up the phone and smiled at Tony.

The direct approach. "Soo, Ziva. Who were you talking to on the phone?"

"It is a secret, Tony. My lips are snapped."

"Sealed, Zi." He heard her mutter something about American idioms before returing to her paperwork.

He had completely forgotten the incident a few days later, when he found a small box sitting on his desk. It had a New York address on it, and his suspicions immediately flew to Senior. Just then, Ziva strode into the bullpen and grinned.

"Good. It arrived."

"Wait, this is from you?" Tony was honestly shocked.

"Yes. Now, open it before I decide to take it back."

He opened the small box and brushed aside some wrapping paper. In it sat a croissant. No, a doughnut.

"What the hell?" Tony pulled it out and showed it to his partner.

"Try eating it, Tony."

He put the thing in his mouth and chewed slowly. He swallowed the bite.

"Oh my god. This is the best thing I have ever eaten!" Tony quickly demolished the rest of it. Ziva laughed.

"It is called a cronut. Kensi, from the LA office, recommended them to me. Her partner loves them."

"He's not the only one. Thanks Zi."

"Well it is your birthday."

"Wait, really? I completely forgot!"

Ziva headslapped him. "Tony, I am kidding."

"Ohh…"

They spent the rest of the day shooting secret looks at each other across the bullpen.
