AN: The story begins after Link leaves for Death Mountain after saving Colin. I hope you enjoy the story.

As Beth sat by Colin's bed she was afraid. He hadn't opened his eyes since Link brought him back to the village. She had been helping Renado nurse him back to health but she was worried about him so much she would not leave him, she barely ate or slept, she was determined to be by his side when he awoke.
Renado on the other hand was afraid that if the boy did not wake soon Beth would do something drastic. Three days had pasted since Link had left for Death Mountain when Renado tried to bring Beth outside and to the sprits spring.
"Beth, you should come outside. The sunlight will do you some good." He said to her.
Her eyes not leaving Colin's sleeping figure she replied "No Renado, I am fine right here."
"Beth please come with me, my daughter Luda will take care of him why you are away. You are hungry and sleep deprived. Right now you need as much sleep as Colin does if he is going to pull through."
"Pull through? What do you mean by that? What is wrong with him? ANSWER ME!"
"Beth calm down please, Colin's injuries were quite sever and I am not sure if he is going to survive this, I am doing the best I can but I can not be sure about his condition. The best we can do for him now is to let him sleep. Beth, please come outside."
"No Renado! I am not going to leave him alone. Not at all!"
"Beth please come with me, you'll feel better when you're in the spring. The water will help."
"Alright, but when I am going in I am coming straight back here to Colin."
"Alright Beth."
"Thank you Renado." As Beth stood she shook, Renado was right, she was hungry, tired, and weak but Colin was weaker. She looked down at his pale face and sighed, she knew that she should go out side but she didn't want to leave him when a thought occurred to her 'If Colin is going to get better than I need to stay strong to help him.' so she took a deep breath, picked up a bucket to fill with spring water and looked at Colin once more. Before she left she said nine words "I will be back soon Colin, I love you." The last three words were not intended but she knew they were true, She was in love with Colin
AN: So did you like it? I hope that Beth didn't seem too OOC but hey, in my defense she doesn't show up much in the game. R&R please and if I get at least four reviews then chapter two will come soon. I am very proud for my story to be the first story on here. PEACE OUT!
