Nightfall Preview
Skitty hobbled through the ominous forest. Her face was filled with tears, one of her eyes had been gashed out, she felt extreme pain though her ribs to her back. The young kitty had gone through so many trials of grief and loss to make it to this hellish place. She was no longer a young girl anymore, but a survivor. As she stepped into the forest she knew the Sableye were there, watching her with grins stretching across their faces.
She motioned her head upwards to see a Buneary, Bulbasaur and Azurill hanging on the trees with a rope around their necks. Skitty knew if the Sableye caught her she would end up like the poor Pokemon hanging from the dead trees. Skitty quickened her pace after seeing the dead Pokemon and her breath cycles began inching closer to hyperventilation. After reaching a fork in the road she stopped dead in her tracks and raised her ears up. She looked to her side and saw a Sableye tilting his head at her. She sprinted not onto a path but through the forest.
The Skitty tried not to let out a scream. She sprinted for a whole five minutes before smacking her head on a branch, leaving a mark and causing her to be dizzy. She spinned as she ran; which led her to run right into a Sableye. It grabbed her and whispered, "The master will be pleased with your sacrifice."
"Let me go please!" Skitty cried. More Sableye began to surround her as the whispering one slammed her to the ground and started tickling her. She began to be smacked and cut by the Sableye as she continued to scream. Skitty looked up at the sky as her final moments seemed to be upon her.
The Sableye laughed and chuckled until a shock emitted through them. The Sableye screamed and ran away, as the creepy but frightful bunch they are. Skitty lie on the ground all bruised and bloodied, but a hand was given to her, "I told you I would find you." The paw that reached out for her was her exploration team partner Pikachu.
Skitty hobbled up and cried as she hugged him. "I thought I lost you."
Pikachu replied, "Even in the evil, apocalyptic world we are in now, I won't let you down."
