Chapter One: Clarise's Entry
Note: The Characters will have English names so Haku = Clarise, Miku = Michaela and Kaito = Kyle. The setting of this extract is Haku after the war of the Green and Yellow Country. I am not a good writer and just doing this in my spare time.
Dear Diary,
The war was far from over, the country of green was eliminated and only I the female with white hair survived when apparently all the females with green hair were massacred by the hands of the neighbouring country. Michaela was nowhere to be found when I came back to the kingdom seeing all was left was ash and gravel and bodies piled up by the evacuates.
When the first catapult hit the town square I realized a war had started, there were people screaming everywhere, swords were slashed and blood splattered on the window panes. Michaela and I escaped through the back door and underground where we met a blonde man who appeared to be a servant from another country. His feminine face structure had me convinced that he/she was a woman in disguise. He told Michaela and I that he knows how to not get killed, Michaela was convinced but I wasn't so I told Michaela that I'll run off to the woods where we first met.
Michaela agreed and smiled at me not knowing that this could be the last time we would meet. I regretted ever abandoning her at a time like this, I knew afterwards that we should have evacuated to the Kingdom across the sea. I ran back to where I last saw Michaela but she was nowhere to be found. HOW CAN I BE SO STUPID?
I escaped to the woods nearby where no one would suspect that someone was hiding there. I spent most of the night eating the leftovers from last night's final dinner with our master. It was impossible to survive without the leftovers so things were rationed between me and the other survivors who also hid in the woods with their survival food. The war between the country of yellow and the country of green was over after a few days. We were lucky that Prince Kyle built a shelter for us to stay in, but then I realized that Prince Kyle was the person who started this war. He rejected the Evil Queen's Proposal because he was in love with Michaela. I hated him ever since.
When I returned to the former Kingdom, there was a crowd crowding around the well where Michaela and I prayed for good luck every single day before our duties were given by our merchant. . I walked up and saw the Prince of Blue holding a cold, soaked body of a dear person whose life was so precious to perish. Michaela was dead. Her head was bleeding from an injury which seemed like days before today. Something occurred once I examined the well seeing that the well was filled with water and a mixture of blood possibly from Michaela's head injuries. The well was always abandoned and empty! Why was it wet! Who decided to fill up the abandoned well and drown my best friend?
Her funeral was on the same day we found her dead. 'Michaela … The smile of the country' was buried at the cemetery with other dead people. After the funeral I decided to move away from the kingdom and live in the shore where it faced the Blue Country where Michaela and I long desired to move. The church bells rung and I have decided that there was no way that I should live in a life full of friendship before it becomes tarnished by the hands of bloodshed. I had to move on.
This may be my last diary entry.
