10 Silkcut And A WKD
She walked casually into the yard of the SunHill police station. Smiling at a group of uniform that were on there way out, the blonde DI made her way in to begin her days work.
After grabbing herself a coffee from the canteen, Sam was on her way to her office. Up the stairs she took a right, only to be stopped and called back. The immediate banging of the opposite doors on the left caught her attention and so did the attention of her DCI standing looked rushed.
"Sam you got a minute?" DCI Meadows had some news to tell Sam and needed to tell her now. Sam was a little confused, she was startled, she had no idea of what could be so urgent, at half nine in the morning. So turning left now she made her way to the DCI'S office instead.
"Sorry to have pulled you in like this Sam, but I myself was only told this morning. The T.S department have been on the phone and have asked us here at SunHill to set up the test purchasing scheme for the area today".
Sam frowned and replied "Oh right, well this is kinda sudden, I wasn't aware of any complaints".
Jack nodded to agree, he knew what she meant, his exact thoughts too, when he was first told. "Well neither was I until now, they seem to be focusing on the rise in underage sales as a whole rather than the amount of complaints, so they gave me this document, on what to do if situations if something goes wrong etc. Also the portfolios of the two police cadets they are sending over to help out. I have emailed you the shop locations and details. Your be doing an official briefing at eleven, the other team members have been informed so you don't have to worry about that. Good luck and let me know how you get on".
Sam took the files from her DCI, she couldn't believe that day she had ahead of her, at quarter to ten in the morning, she hadn't even stepped foot in her office yet! "Will do, thanks", smiling she walked out, closing the door behind her, and was finally able to go to her office at last.
