You started out as such an annoying idiot. Although, looking back, can we really blame you? You were looking for attention, when all anyone ever did was ignore you.
You always goofed off, as if you had all the time in the world. You did have guts, though. You weren't afraid to stand up to anyone, and that's probably the reason you've come so far. You never gave up, and you never back down, even when you were told you wouldn't win.
What first got you any attention were your big words, because no one thought that such a knucklehead could live up to them. So much of the time you just come off as a slow idiot (sometimes you still do…), but when someone tried to poke holes in your dream, you got serious so fast it was like you were a whole new person. You would even defend other people, because, more often than not, you understood them in some way.
Your spirit is what makes people start believing in you. People meet you, and at first they doubt, but then they see a side of you that surprises them so much they can't help but believe. Believe that you can become what you say you will become, and do what you say you will do.
As you've gotten older, you've only gotten stronger, and surprised people even more.
Once you were despised, isolated, alone…but now you have gotten everyone's attention.
Now the world is watching, and everyone is holding their breath to see what you can do. You've made more friends and allies than anyone thought would be possible in the beginning. But all this comes down to one thing.
We believe in you Naruto.
