Dumb
Ariana isn't dumb - anyone who truly knows her knows that. Al and Abe know of course, and some days Ariana thinks Gellert (silly boy!) knows, but most days Ariana isn't sure.
But Ariana isn't dumb - and she's not 'slow' either. Mama once said that to old Batty Bagshot and that couldn't be further from the truth. Ariana knows that she was different from most other girls, but that was because of the way she looked at things. Her thoughts would move so fast and in so many different directions, that she would have to stop and reign them all in to 'think' them through properly.
Ariana isn't dumb - but she's not careful either. Otherwise Daddy would still be here, wouldn't he? And mama too? And wouldn't Ariana also be there then?
