In the Drew Apartment, Mrs. Chiu and Miss. Drew were peppering some cookies and tea for their guest. Magenta, Candy, Lilo, Stitch, and Rarity were reading some goth magazines. "So what's with the treats Mrs. Chiu?"
"My cousin, "Trish" is visiting me and I need to get ready." she explained.
Magenta explained that Trish works as a shoe company Vice CEO in NYC and she's always coming up with new shoe designs. Unfortunately, they were looking at something else. "Are you looking at me?" she asked.
"We are looking at you Magenta!" Rarity said as Magenta turned around.
Behind her was a woman who looked like her, but older and with shades. Behind her was an Asian skater kid with shades.
"This is my cousin, "Trish Lam." and her son, "Owen" Mrs. Chiu said, "Cousin Trish, this is Lilo and her talking koala, "Stitch" and of course you know my daughters, "Magenta" and "Candace"
"I remember them," Trish recalled, "Magenta is the goth girl and Candace is the weird one with the sweet tooth."
"That's me," Candy said as she shoves a lollipop in her face.
Then Joy popped up on Magenta's watch and said, "Delia Draycott movie is on now! Get your popcorn and soda ready and remember no talking during the movie."
Magenta turned on the tv and started to watch the movie.
Nancy recognized the same movie as one from when she went to Los Angeles for a few months. Mrs. Chiu and Trish recalled meeting her for the first time back then.
Nancy explained that 30 years ago, after solving a mystery at a pastor, her dad has gotten a job that is temporary in Los Angeles. He told her not to sleuth while there in California. She picked Draycott Manor to stay at. Delia was a big star in the 40s and 50s. She went missing for 5 months and on the night of her return where she threw a party. She was found dead in the pool.
Then Syd and Sasha came back from the mall where they got new shoes from Veinshtein Inc. It was the 30th anniversary of Drew Loafers. They were thrilled to see Trish again. "Are you telling the story of your Californian adventure and how you met Mrs. Chiu Mommy?" Sasha asked.
"Of course." Miss. Drew answered.
"Carry on," Syd replied, "We know the beginning."
