The train's whistle blew; calling us all towards the giant locomotive to jump on top of a car. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me and launched myself onto the rungs of the ladder. Many other boys sat atop the box car I was climbing, and most of them were either chatting excitedly or staring off into the distant sunset.

"Hey, Link, Didn't think I'd see you here!" I turned towards the voice, smiling when I saw an old friend of mine, Keet.

"Keet," I replied, sliding over to sit next to him. The train started to pick up speed, causing most of its 'passengers' to sit down. If a person was standing and unknowing while it took a turn, you'd fall off in a heartbeat. "How's life?"

"Same as always. Still writing to Kina."

"Are you two...?" He shook his head with a sigh. Kina was a girl back at home that Keet had fallen head over heels in love with. He couldn't seem to get on the right terms with her, so it was a touchy subject.

"Her family's seeing less trouble than most, since her father runs that incredibly popular restaurant...erm..."

"The Lumpy Pumpkin?"

"Yes, that's the one. Back in Skyloft."

I don't see how people could live anywhere but the small province of Skyloft, but they manage to. Of course, there were other places far off in the world, but I preferred Skyloft. I came out for adventure, and I certainly was getting enough of it. I am Link, and I am a nomad.
