E/O Drabble Challenge word: blanket Spoilers: none, could take place any time, any season.
It was cold.
At 2am, the heat stopped. Front office: empty. Nothing to do but bundle up in jackets under covers.
At 4am, Dean heard a strange noise from Sam's bed. He peered out of the blankets at his brother. It took a moment for Dean to realize it was Sam's teeth chattering. He scanned and realized Sam's feet were sticking out of the blanket.
Dean groaned, got up, took one of his blankets and carefully placed it over the lower half of Sam's body.
He grabbed another shirt and more socks.
The chattering stopped.
Dean nodded, curled up tightly, and fell asleep.
