AN: I'm back!

You are all probably wondering 'what is this drabble'?

It's a Sakura and Karin friendship drabble, that's what it is. I like Adult!Karin's maturity a lot and I think she and Sakura could be bffs, cooing over Sarada's cuteness while making sure Sasuke never gets to hold her xD

Pairings: none in this drabble but implied SasuSaku.

"N-Naruto... I'm going to get you..."

Sakura Uchiha lightly swore under her breath as her swollen legs forced her to lean against and then sit down at the bottom of a tree.

Now, typically, she had no more reasons to be annoyed with her former teammate turned Hokage. He built a cute life with Hinata, his new wife, and had an adorable son on the way, with the other woman being as close to her due date as she currently was.

No, her annoyance with Naruto this time came from that he, despite knowing how close she was to giving birth to Sarada (what she and Sasuke decided to call their baby girl), had to send Sasuke away on a mission that could have been done in record time even without his involvement. Indeed, the next time the blonde asked her for free ramen, she would just direct him away - if he is lucky, without using her fists.

Sighing, the pinkette looked up at the darkening sky and wondered just where Sasuke currently was. Why hadn't she paid attention when he told her? Oh that's right, she and Hinata had been shopping for baby clothes so her mind was on that at the time...

"Sakura-san?"

With a blink, Sakura looked away from the sky and to the side, seeing - to her surprise - none other then Karin Uzumaki, one of Naruto's cousins, standing there and looking at her in surprise.

"Karin-san? What are you...?"

"I should be asking you that!" frowning, the redhead walked over to her and kneeled beside her before gently touching her bulging belly. "You look about ready to pop and I know you realize that. So why aren't you in Konoha's hospital right now, safe and sound?"

The pinkette was about to speak when Karin interrupted her.

"Let me guess? Sasuke-kun still isn't done with his mission and you, worried he wouldn't make it in time, went out to look for him without telling anyone despite the fact that you are in no state to fight if it came to that?"

Sakura just slowly closed her mouth again as the redhead sighed, slowly rubbing her belly.

"It doesn't matter. Our current camp is nearby so I might have the time to get you there and set up whatever I can find..."

Just then, the other woman began to gasp in pain, about to hit her head into the tree behind her as she did but made impact with Karin's hand instead.

"... or not."

A few hours later, Sakura was smiling down at a sleeping baby girl that looked like the mirror image of Sasuke as Suigetsu and Jugo cooed at the baby from both of her sides. Meanwhile, Karin was warming up some food for them and the new mother as she looked over at the image they potrayed with a smile.

"Dinner is ready! Time to dig in!" she told them cheerfully as she set out the plates around the campfire.

Sarada Uchiha may not be her daughter - something in Karin didn't want that anyways - but she could become the best aunt the little girl could have instead.

After rubbing it in Sasuke's face that she helped give birth to his daughter while he wasn't around to witness it, of course.

AN: And that's it for this drabble! The last sentence is because I just love me some sassy Karin being sassy xD Especially to Sasuke :D
