It wasn't too hard to find Karen after Jimmy got out. All he had to do was follow the bright lights of Broadway. When he found her, she was coming out the back door with a line of admires waiting for anything from her. Not that he could blame them.
He'd wait for her too. He did, but when he found her, surrounded by fans it didn't take a genius to come to the realization that she'd wait for him. Jimmy spotted Derek.
Rather it was their new project, or if Derek was the director of the new show, Jimmy didn't need the details. All he needed was him to scoop her up in his arms to know everything.
Jimmy sighed.
His heart broke.
And he'd move on.
He's done it before. However, this go round, it was easier said than done.
Jimmy took his leave, singing Sir Elton John's "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues".
