AN- Just felt like writing a quick drabble, because there should be more KidoMomo in this world. I only own my own ideas, thank you, and enjoy. –Twilight Joltik

There were only two places where Momo felt she was safe from the eyes of others: the Mekameka Dan's hideout, and near Kido. Kido, who was her savior from her curse and every hero in a Manga or video game she'd ever had a crush on rolled into one hoodie-wearing package. Kido, who was always cool and calm unless she was happy or frightened, in which case she was sort of adorable. Kido, who she had understandably and completely fallen in love with.
She was completely safe now, there was no reason for her to feel on edge when she was in both safe places at once, with no one home but herself and Kido, but her heart still pounded uncontrollably. The odd sensation of being in ecstatic joy and frustrating despair at once was enveloping her, and she thought she would explode if she held it in any longer.
"Kisaragi," flatly called out her love. Evening sun caught in her eyes, which weren't the red they normally had to be when in Momo's company. "You okay?"
Deep breaths, like she was about to take the stage. Ah, she couldn't hold it in any longer, she had to spit it out and get it over with. "Kido, um, there's something I've been wanting to say to you for a while," she started, but as her Leader took an earbud out and looked at her expectantly, the words began to run dry in her mouth. "Um, er, I, uh, er…"
A hint of a trace of a smile graced Kido's lips. "Look, you don't have to thank me for helping you," she assured the wordless idol. "I'm just glad it worked out like it did, that my eyes cancel out yours."
"Ah, yes! That's exactly what I was going to say!": A convenient lie had presented itself, and Momo found herself unable to resist it. She was a liar, she was a coward. "Thank you so much for everything, really!"
With a sigh, Kido popped the earbud back in. "It's fine, Kisaragi. Like I said, no need to thank me."
Momo wished she could muster the daring to lung in for a swift peck on the cheek and boldly whisper "But I will anyways". It was such a cool idea in theory, but in all actuality, it would have more than likely been unwelcome. Maybe she'd try again when she wasn't so filled with doubt.
