Golden eyes, like warm honey, sweep the room.

Red eyes, like the blood of his victims, watch her intrigued.

She belongs to the Cullen clan.

He belongs to the Volturi.

She lives for her family.

He lives for himself.

She remembers nothing of being human.

He finds it's better to forget.

She came to dance.

He came to spy.

She smiles at a joke someone tells.

He raises an eyebrow.

She pulls a man, her husband, onto the dance floor.

Although I am very much over Twilight (thank you Lost Boys) I still love the Volturi to death and I decided to dust off this fic and make it not suck.
