It was Halloween at the Pet shop, everyone was going trick or treating. Russell was going as a scientist; Minka was going as a candy piece, Vinnie a dancer, Sunil a wizard, Pepper and cowgirl, Penny ling a fairy, and Zoe as a pop star. "This is going to be awesome! We're going to walk around seeing people and pets wear terrifying costumes!" Vinnie exclaimed, "Terrifying?" Penny shuddered, "Yeah, and the houses we will see would be worse!" Pepper joined in, "Worse?" Penny repeated.
Penny hide behind a toy, "I won't go, it's too scary!" Blythe walked in the room, "Okay you guys, ready to go?" Everyone jumped up and down and followed Blythe out the door. "Penny ling, wanting to cry, thought about going with them, but remembered what Pepper and Vinnie said, " I won't go, I can't go, but I want to." She imagined what could happen if she went She was trick or treating, but couldn't keep up with the other pets, she turned around and saw a tree with a frown and sharp teeth staring at her meanly. Then she heard a wolf howl and a owls whoo whoo, Penny ling started to shake with fear. Penny ling snapped into reality and screamed.
"Why did yah do that?" a voice said, she turned around and it was Vinnie, "I thought you went trick or treating?" She asked, "I could find my hat, but why are you here?" he said, "Oh I uh I couldn't uh find my bag?" Vinnie saw her with her bag clutched in her paws, "Yeah right. What's the real reason?" Penny ling began to cry " OK IM AND FRIGHTENED TO GO TRICK OR TREATING OKAY? I SAID I MUST BE A BIG BABY!" Vinnie shook his head, " No you're not, I mean, some people are, like Sunil for example, why do you think he doesn't like going trick or treating alone?" Penny looked at the ground, "If you're still scared, I'll stay close to you,"
Penny wasn't so scared anymore, "Thanks Vinnie!" she grabbed and hugged him "Noo…problem….Penny….." They went trick or treating and finally caught up with the rest of the pets.
