Spooky outsiders time
it was halloween night. Ponyboy was sitting in his room trying to figure out who he wanted to trick or treat with. He wanted to go with johnny, but johnny was scared of spooky things. He could go with two-bit, but he was dressed up as a giant penis and ponyboy didn't wanna deal with that. He could go with steve, but steve was too busy crying because he had daddy issues. Dally was out of the question because on halloween, dally made satanic sacrifices. His brothers wouldn't wanna go with him.
Ponyboy decided he would go see if Cherry wanted to go trick or treating with him. He walked all the way to her house in his costume that he had made himself. It consisted of a cardboard box around his waist and the word robot written in black sharpie on it. Pony knocked on the door. Cherry answered.
"why are you here" she asked.
"cherry pls come trick or treat with me"
"no ponyboy"
"cherry you make me cri" and ponyboy ran away, tears streaming down his face.
He ended up in the lot. Johnny was sitting alone, crying. Ponyboy sat beside him, crying.
"what's wrong, ponyboy" johnny asked, wiping his tears.
"no one wants to trick or treat with me."
"well, you never asked me" johnny said, staring pony in the eyes.
"but johnny, you're scared of spooky things."
"but you could protect me" johnny leaned towards ponyboy, eyes locked. "ponyboy, i-i love you." ponyboy's face contorted into disgust.
"OH HELL NAW JOHNNY YOU'VE BEEN ON HAVEN'T YOU"
"PONY, NO! I LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT THE FANGIRLS WANT" ponyboy thought for a bit and smiled.
"WELL THEY DON'T CALL ME PONY FOR A REASON! HOP ON THIS HORSE, JOHNNY AND RIDE ME LIKE YOU'RE IN THE RODEO"
