"Oh my gosh! What if Adrien and I are on the same team?! What if we're on different teams?!" Marinette wiggled into her gym shorts quickly, daydreaming about playing dodge ball with Adrien.

"Girl, chill out!" Alya laughed and shoved her things into her locker.

"But what if I say something silly? Or what if I say too much? Or freeze up?!"

"I wouldn't worry about you freezing up." Alya laughed and walked out to the gym.

Marinette sighed and followed her best friend, joining the rest of her class mates.

"Check out Chloe." Alya giggled and pointed towards Chloe.

"How dare you try to tell me what you do! If I change, it'll totally ruin my hair! Do you know how much this hairdo cost?!" Chloe complained and sat in the bleachers, holding her phone and sticking her nose in the air.

"What a drama queen." Marinette sighed.

Adrien walked out, laughing with Nino.

"I-I-Its Adrien! How's my hair? My shirt?!"

"Marinette, you look great!" Alya grinned and shook her head.

"Wow, he looks great!" Marinette smiled dreamily.

"Did ya say something, Marinette?" Adrien asked, smiling as he and Nino walked over.

"W-w-what? N-no! Well, I mean, I say a lot if things, I mean, n-no!" Marinette rambled on, laughing nervously.

Alya shook her head and winked at Nino. "Hey, Nino~"

"Hey, pretty lady!" Nino grinned dorkily.

The instructor had everyone be quiet. "As you already know, we're playing dodge ball. Boys vs girls."

"Whaaat?" Marinette gasped. "Oh no…"

"Chillax, it'll be fun." Alya put her arm around her shoulders. " Help me hit Nino."

"What if I hit Adrien? Then he'll never talk to me again, and we'll never get married, and we'll never live happily ever after-"

"It's dodge ball, Marinette! That's the point!"

"The point is to ruin my future with Adrien?!"

The instructor blew his whistle before they could argue any more. Immediately there were dodge balls flying every where.

"We got this, Juleka!" Rose let out a tiny battle cry as she hid behind Juleka who caught the balls easily and handed them off to Rose, who then hit every boy she saw.

Alya laughed, dodging balls and aiming for Nino.

Marinette looked back and forth before taking a deep breath. "I save Paris every day, this is nothing!" She started grabbing balls and hitting the boys expertly.

The number of boys began to dwindle after a few minutes. Eventually, only one boy remained.

"Get him, Marinette!" Alya and Nino cheered.

Marinette lifted her arm, ready to launch the winning ball at the last boy. She gasped. "Adrien?!" But it was too late, she had already thrown the ball.

Maybe he'll dodge, maybe I missed she thought as she watched the ball fly in slow motion.

The ball sailed across the gym, nailing Adrien right in his beautiful face.

"Oh no! Adrien, I'm so sorry!"

Adrien rubbed his cheek. "Wow, Marinette! You have great aim!"

Chloe gasped and ran to Adrien, coddling him. "Oh, my Adrikins! Are you okay?!"

Sabrina pointed at Marinette. "You're a monster!"

"I didn't mean it!" Marinette sighed. "Now I'm going to the lonely cat lady!"

Alya put her arm around her again. "He's fine, it's just a foam ball."

"That I threw at his face!"

The girls were cheering, enjoying their victory.
