A/N This is written purely for all those people who hate Ashley Seaver. If you like her, I suppose you'll enjoy this, but the main purpose is to retaliate to all those "Ugh I HATE Seaver she's such a bitch how dare she try to replace JJ" people.
Disclaimer: If I owned CM, I would have that "Mrs. Spencer Reid" t-shirt I want so badly.
Ashley Seaver.
She's blonde. She was brought in after JJ left. So, we all must conclude, of COURSE she's trying to replace everyone's favorite media liason.
Because, of course, when someone is brought in as a "probationary agent", it means they're trying to replace the "media liason."
But I do believe "replacing agents" has been known to happen before? Jordan Todd, Alex Blake? No? Oh, no, THEY'RE fine because they didn't try to replace JJ.
But oh wait, wasn't Jordan Todd brought in solely as a temporary replacement for JJ? But that's fine, because they explicitly stated she was a temporary replacement. With Seaver, it was hinted at it oh so subtly that it caused outrage among thousands.
Plus, she's blonde.
And Reid thought she's pretty.
Sound familiar? Oh, right, because that's EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED WITH JJ. So, therefore, it is a point beyond argument that Seaver is trying to replace JJ.
Blonde. Attractive to a genius. This, they have in similarity, and everything in between.
Serial killer for a father.
Tortured history.
Faced prejudice for what her father had done.
Oh yeah, they just decided to stick a pathetic attempt of a character, exactly like JJ, into the show.
With no substance whatsoever.
Except, of course, her father being a serial killer. That would give her no experience whatsoever in the field, talking to victims, so therefore she has no right to be there at all.
No, we can't trust the writers of Criminal Minds on this. Because when have they ever produced a good female character?
Jennifer Jareau.
Emily Prentiss.
Jordan Todd.
Elle Greenaway.
Alex Blake.
Penelope Garcia.
Yeah, no, we can't give this one a fair fighting chance. Why?
Because she's blonde.
And Reid thought she's pretty.
So next time, what if Kate Callahan is blonde? And someone on the team finds her attractive?
We're not going to hate on her.
We're going to give her a fair, fighting chance.
So unlike what so many of you did with Seaver.
I don't know about you.
But I'm not one to hate on someone seconds after their first appearance.
