say hello to the stars
a one shot about when bob and damasen eventually escape Tartarus.
"Where are we?" Asked Bob "Damasen? Anyone?"
"I Dont Know!" replied Damasen, Bob had never been so pleased to hear his friends voice. Throughout their years in Tartarus's robles, the only thing that had kept him sane was Damasen, and vice versa.
"Gaia?" moaned a voice. " you are gone? i cannot even hear you sleeping. "
"Tartarus?" asked Bob, at the exact same time as Damasen asked "Father?"
Then, the Two realised they were free.
Quickly, they hurried to the new crack in Tartarus. Bob peeked out. "Stars" he murmured, in awe.
"What are stars?" Damasen asked, unable to remember anything except the drakon, and Tartarus.
"The most beautiful thing in the world" answered Bob, still drinking in the sky, eherss Damasen was focused on the trees and flowers. The 2 of them pried open the crack, until they could climb out. They were starstruck, compared to the fiery pits snd caverns of Tartarus, this was sheer perfection. A river gurgled nearby, a cheerful sound, so different to the rivers of misery in Tartarus.
The two of them lay down, and peacefully began to sleep. Their soft snores mingled with the sound of the wind, and the two slept longer than ever before, waking up at well past midday. In daylight, the world seemed even more wonderful. they were lying in a garden, or park. The nearby area was filled with roses, and the grass was lush, emerald green, and soft. There was a small deer nearby, which they killed, skinned and ate. The fresh meat warm and tender. Then the two of them sat and talked until sunset, the sky lighting up orange and pink.
Damasen fell asleep immediately, But Bob remained awake. he watched the sun go down and the Moon come up. The stars started to shine in the sky.
"Hello Stars" said Bob.
