** I don't own Chihiro…wish I did**
Chihiro watched the trees pass by, a tear rolling down her cheek. Soon the car came through the brilliant view of green into the clear fields. Chihiro's dad drove down the road taking two lefts and then continuing down a long stretch of road. Colors flashed by her window until the car started to slow, coming to a halt in front of a wonderful looking blue house. "It's beautiful, don't you think Chihiro?" Her mother turned her head to face Chihiro. "Yeah, I guess." Everyone left the car except for Chihiro. She just sat in the back thinking about Haku and all her friends.
To Chihiro everything seemed very different, the air didn't blow the same like it did in Haku's world. A couple more tears slid down her cheek. Her mother was at the front door telling Chihiro to hurry to see the house. "Just a second!" Chihiro practically screamed. She got tired of sitting in the dusty car and decided to take a stroll to the back.
When she reached the back she noticed it was small. Oh great, I am going to have so much fun back here. As she looked out to see the view her eyes stopped on the entrance of the forest. She saw green hair glistening in the breeze. She gasped, she blinked and it was gone. She laughed to herself. Don't be silly, Haku couldn't be here. No matter how much I miss him. "I will never forget you Haku, that's a promise" She felt a little sillier now because it was impossible that h could hear her here.
11 years later…
"Chihiro?" Chihiro woke up, still a little dazed. "True?" She wasn't even thinking of saying that. The whole class burst into laughter. Her math teacher chuckled, "No, but I just got a call from the Headmaster. He would like to see you." "Oh" she muttered to herself. Good job Chihiro, now what have you done? She walked out of the classroom trying to keep what was left of her dignity. She could still hear giggling even thought the door was shut. "Great…I will be the laughing stock for a week, at least" She muttered angrily to the air.
She walked down the hall until she made it to her Headmaster's door. Wonder what I did. She opened the door and saw the Headmaster on the phone looking worried. "You called?" She said this as politely as she could. He gestured the phone to her. Before the phone hit her ear she heard a women's voice asking," Are you Chihiro Ogino?" "Yes" The women's voice dropped low, " I'm sorry to say, but your parents were discovered this afternoon in a car crash." Chihiro was in shock. "Are they okay?" The women tried hard to be cheerful, but failed miserably " For the moment…I'm very sorry, but we don't think they are well enough to live." Tears stung in Chihiros eyes," Can I see them?"
"Yes, but they are sedated, you can drop by anytime you'd like." "Okay. Bye" Chihiro hung up before the women had anything else to say. Chihiro turned to her headmaster," May I go to see my parents?" He nodded," I can drive you if you like." Chihiro tried to smile. Soon she was being driven to the hospital by her headmaster.
