Author's Note: This is my first story here, please be nice. It's just a little piece of fluff that wouldn't get out of my head but we all know how that works, ne? Well, anyways, enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not, unfortunately, own InuYasha. All credit goes to the brilliant Rumiko Takahashi.

They sat on a hillside that resided over a small river. She had her arms wrapped around her knees, and contentedly watched the water run past the rocks and boulders. He sat cross-legged, and watched her. Sango felt the gaze of a certain monk, and looked over at him. Her eyes caught his, and he turned away. "Miroku? Why—why do you love me? I'm not pretty, I'm not all that nice, so why?" He looked at her and responded, "You're right, you're not pretty, you're gorgeous. In fact, the most gorgeous woman I've ever had the pleasure to meet. And you are nice, you just don't see it the way everyone else does. I'm not all that nice of a person either, but everyone still calls me nice, right?" When she nodded he smiled. "So, why the sudden interest?" Sango blushed, and said, "No reason. I-I-I just wanted to know, you know?" His smile became a grin, and he scooted closer. "Are you sure that there isn't another reason?" Her anger, so quick to flare, became evident at his prying. "Because I love you too, you stupid idiot!" Realizing what she said, she covered her mouth, jumped up and ran off into the forest. Miroku stood, and ran after her, leaving his staff behind. "SANGO! SANGO COME BACK!" Sango ran, and stopped at a small pond surrounded by a bunch of trees. She heard Miroku calling, but didn't answer. Instead, she sat down at the bank of the pond, and began to cry, her tears adding more water to the tiny pond. Miroku on the other hand, continued to search for her. A couple hours later, he was immensely worried when he found her crying at the edge of a miniature lake. He tiptoed up behind her, and crouched down. She heard him, and whipped around. "What are you doing here?" she asked angrily. He wiped a tear away, and whispered, "Are you actually that ashamed of loving me?" Sango's eyes widened, and she said, "No. But sometimes…you frustrate me, and I'm never sure if I'll ever be enough for you." A tear dropped to the ground, and he pulled her to him. "Dearest, you always have been and always will be enough for me." She smiled, and hugged him. Miroku nuzzled her neck, and kissed the top of her head. "Miroku, what happens next?" she asked as she looked up at him. "Well, since Naraku's dead, I say that maybe after I've proven my love to you even more we get married and let it go from there. How's that sound?" "Wondrous!"
