I combined my own little creativity with the classic tale's intro. It was fun. I doubt it will go any farther...

but maybe, if I have the time and the passion for it...

In the mean time enjoy and review!!

"I will do anything you ask, please, let her go."

"You would sacrifice your very life to save this woman?"

"Yes."

"Then welcome to Bella Noire, Beast."

A bloodcurdling scream shook the room, turning gradually into a growl as the creature spoke. writhed in agonizing pain as spasms shook his body violently. His back arched forward severely. His dark, striking eyes never left her, his love, his life. But her eyes filled with terror as his head grew heavy. Sharp prickling poked at him mercilessly from everywhere as he grew, his very mind changing as his body did, until the agonized shrieking turned into a snarl that would have made anyone collapse in its wake. The pain burned on, still sharp, but gradually ebbing away until he himself collapsed into sleep, moaning her name in a voice that would cause the dead to shiver in their own graves for fear of the creature who caused it. Blackness enveloped him into unconsciousness and he knew no more as they freed the poor girl of the shackles that had bound her to the stone. She shook and collapsed onto the floor in terror.

"You are free to go where you wish, the debt is paid," one of them droned to her, obviously bored to death. She shook violently as she watched the terrible creature before her. This was not Adrian, she told herself, they killed him, he is dead, and they have simply summoned a great, terrible animal, yes, that was it, for she could bear the death of her lover, but her mind simply wasn't able to comprehend what she had witnessed. She ran as far as her legs could carry her, vowing never to speak of it again, to never think of HIM again. And as she swore it to herself, the love she had felt slipped away into grieving as she thought of the story she would tell of how he had died, a bear, she decided, had eaten him, since that left no evidence, and because no one would believe her that faeries had murdered her beloved in exchange for her life. She spoke the lie so many times that she began to believe it herself, and she married, leaving her thoughts of him in the castle. There he rotted for decades, every night witnessing his loves' betrayal, every night forced to hear and watch her and her husband kiss, watching them grow old, her face never changed in his mind, and never did it change after her death, As centuries passed, he threw himself into despair, hopeless that anyone would ever care for him enough to lift his curse, convinced that if he couldn't love Marie, there was no one to love at all, for who could love him without knowing the state he was before, and how could he learn to love her in return? Who could ever learn to love a Beast?
