In 2024, ten years after the Guns of the Patriots Incident and Solid Snake's final mission. A new threat arises to put the world in danger. A former Black Ops Operator with a dark and mysterious past is asked to go to a Island Nation to put a stop to it. An mostly original cast of characters with some old faces showing up as well.

This is a foreword in order to explain this story

Metal Gear Ghost is a story that I have came up with years ago to add on to the Metal Gear universe.

The way I see it, the events from the beginning of the timeline to MGS4 has happened and that the timeline branches off into two distinct branches.

One branch is that of the events of Metal Gear Revengence, where Nanomachines, cybernetic and unmanned weapons tech is more accessible to the public and military.

Metal Gear Ghost is the branch in which these technologies are either heavily restricted or outright banned by the United Nations.

In this story, I plan on taking things back to basics. None of the weird science and damn near supernatural thing seen in MGS5.
