Perfectly Luna

"I love you, you completely unscatter me, in a way nobody else can, and I appreciate that so much. I'm not sure why I'm lucky enough to have you love me back, but I promise I'll spend every day of the rest of our live's proving that i'm good enough for you. You're my sun, you brighten up my life, you made me see the good in everything. You are the world to me Luna, and I cannot put into words how much joy I feel in marrying you."

Luna's smile lit up her face in the most beautiful way possible. She looked simply stunning in her dress, but to me Luna looks good every single moment I'm with her. She could be wearing the dirtiest rags and to me she would look like the prettiest person in the room.

"I love you unconditionally, when you are happy, sad, excited or mad. I love you when you wake up in the morning, I love you when you go to sleep at night, and I love you in all the time in between. You complete me in a way I've never felt, you're the yin to my yang, the custard to my fishfingers, the nargle to my mistletoe, the sun to my moon. As we move forward in life, I'll be content to know we're doing it together."

As she spoke her vows, I choked down a laugh, knowing many in the audience would have absolutely no idea what she was talking about. To me, the vow's were perfectly Luna. They showed her individuality, one of the many reason's I love her. She has never been ashamed to show who she truly is, and she astound's me each and every day.

As we exchanged ring's a feeling of utter contentment filled me up, as I realised she was mine to keep. Mine to go to bed with at night, mine to wake up with in the morning, mine to laugh with, mine to cry with, mine forever. As that thought overtook me, a tear of happiness slipped onto my cheek. She saw it, of course she did, Luna misses nothing, and that blinding smile that made me fall in love with her made another appearance. I made a promise to myself to make sure I saw that smile at least once a day.

The reception was rather tastefully decorated, though how the wedding planner's managed such a feat when bright yellow was one of the colors will forever remain beyond me. Luna had insisted on the color, and mindful of what she had said at Bill and Fleur's wedding all those year's ago, I conceded. I laughed as I watched her dance with her father, certain that what they were doing was not the traditional Father and Daughter dance normally performed at weddings. Then again, when has Luna ever been traditional? Another reason I love her.

The band play's well into the night, I dance and have fun with my new wife, and our friends. We enjoy the first day of forever with our families, knowing we will be on a beach, alone, by tomorrow evening, having fun in the sun on a private island. I find my eye's being drawn over and over to Hermione, the stomach swollen in pregnancy. I wonder how long it will take for the happy moment when Luna is expecting, when we find out that we've been gifted with a child. \I find myself hoping it won't take too long.

As the night draw's to a close, I find myself sitting back at our table, Ron and Hermione by my side, the way it has always been, as I watch my wife enjoy a last dance with her father before we leave. My best friends have been with me on every step of my life, and I was proud to have them watch the most important step I have ever taken. I laugh as Ron repeat's the question he has been asking since we arrived.

"What on earth was Luna's vow's about? Fishfingers and custard? That's bloody horrible! They were so random!"

My answer remain's the same, and will until my dying day.

"They were perfectly Luna."
