Little Master gets Flu
"Haachtt..uhh" The young, sniffling Integra walked into the kitchen and reached for the cereal box but failed. "Too high.." she said to herself. It has been 2 months since the death of her father. She would stay up almost every night alone in her bed, thinking about him. This of course, made her body weak and came down with the flu about 3 days ago. Walter had been taking care of her.
"Miss Integra," Walter bows slightly and continues to speak. "..I'll be heading to the market now." Integra was thankful that Walter was so nice. He's almost like a second father to her. "What for, Walter?" Integra asked softly. "Well, I believe soup is the best cure for you." said Walter. He put his hand gently on her shoulder. "Be sure to rest well today." and with that he turned and walked off. Integra smiled, "Thankyou, Walter."
Integra walked back to the kitchen table and stared at her empty cereal bowl. She had forgotten to ask Walter for the cereal box. It was too late though, he was already gone. "Aghhhh..." Integra groaned. She wanted cereal and she wasn't going to give up just yet. She picked up a chair and put it directly under the cabnet. Standing on the chair, Integra reached for the cereal box but still no use.
"Hhhhaachooo!" She sneezed suddenly and it caught her off guard. Loosing her balance, Integra was about to fall until she felt someone catch her. It was her vampire servant, Alucard. She could feel the vibration on his chest as he chuckled. She hasn't seen or talked to him since that fateful day in the cellar when she had killed Richard.
He looked different than what she remembered him as. He didn't look like some dead corpse at all. His hair was pitch black and he was wearing a red coat, hat, and glasses. Integra was beginning to wonder where he had gotten his clothes. He then set her back down on a chair near the kitchen table. "Bless you, Master."
Integra looked down at him as he bowed. "He almost looks human."she thought to herself. That is, until he smiled. He stood up and just stared at her, looking directly towards her eyes. There was a long moment of silence. Then it hit her, "Why was he awake in the morning at 9am? Is that why he's wearing glasses?" She sniffled a bit, her head felt like it was about to explode. "Do you need anything, Master?" asked Alucard, grinning even wider.
At that moment, Integra remembered about her cereal. She looked away from her servant and just stared at the cabnet. Alucard glanced at the cabnet, then back at her. "Which one?" asked Alucard as he reached into the cabnet. "It was as if he was reading my mind." Integra thought. "It's the brown box..." she said, then added " It's the one that says Count Chocula on it." Alucard nearly flinched.
"..."
He then slammed the cereal box on the table. Integra was surprised at his reaction. He seemed angry, almost offended even. His sudden mood change was quite interesting. He then dissapeared through the wall, mumbling something about humanity and the end of the world due to lack of intellegence. Integra was left in the kitchen drowning in confusion.
She couldn't figure out why he was soo angry. Integra took hold of the now crushed cereal box and poured the cereal into her bowl. She put in just enough milk aswell. She took one spoonful of the cereal into her mouth and ate it. She suddenly reached for her tissue and held it close to her mouth.
"Hhhh..hechtt..uhh" She stiffled a sneeze into the tissue. Groaning, Integra moved her cereal bowl aside and laid her head on the table. She didn't want to eat anymore of her cereal. Closing her eyes, Integra fell into deep sleep on the table.
