Disclaimer: Don't own Chuck, or Sarah and Ellie. If I did, I'm sure there would be more girl-on-girl lovin'. Just saying.

A/N: So this is a drabble I wrote for the Slashy Sunday challenge over at the Chuck_Slash Livejournal community. Just something quick that came off the top of my head. Normal femslash warnings apply, but there's nothing explicit here. Hope you enjoy it, and please review. Thanks!

The Replacement

Sarah wasn't a replacement for her brother. Wasn't. But when Chuck left to "protect" them all, Ellie was lost in the world, and there was but one person she knew that felt the same degree of loss. There was but one person that knew how it felt to have your family, you LIFE ripped away.

Sarah knew how she felt, and even though the blonde former spy wasn't Chuck, Ellie's heart was once again given the chance to love, and nurture. She was given another shot at family, with Sarah, and the truth was, it was better than any family she'd known before.

XXXXX

Ellie wasn't a replacement for her boyfriend. Wasn't. But when Chuck left to "protect" them all, Sarah was lost, without direction, and without love. Ellie was the one person that understood her. The one person that could actually console her. That actually felt her pain.

And at night, when they went to bed, when Ellie would wrap Sarah in her arms, and kiss her, and tell her she loved her, the truth came to light. Chuck had never been what Sarah was looking for. Ellie wasn't a replacement for Chuck. She was what Sarah had wanted all along.

A/N: Hope you enjoyed it. You guys are awesome. Peace.
