"Hey! Prez, can you hear me?"
"Don't bother, Bud. She's busy thinking about...HER again..."
"I wonder if it's the one with the panties again..."
"I HOPE SO!"
Luna snapped out of her daydream and saw Zack and Bud staring at her. They both had an impatient look on their faces. Luna blushed a light red as she quietly asked, "I was daydreaming about her again...wasn't I?"
Zack tapped his glasses knowingly and replied, "Yes, you were. Prez, it might be best if you try TELLING her already..." Bud, who felt the same way, nodded his head in agreement.
"I ALREADY TOLD YOU GUYS THAT I CAN'T! THERE'S TOO MUCH AT STAKE IF THINGS GO WRONG!" Luna snapped. Zack had to admit that she was right; if SHE didn't have the same feelings, Luna would lose much, if not all, of the respect she has gained from her fellow classmates.
Plus, her parents weren't exactly the most understanding of people.
Luna let out an exsaperated groan and wondered, 'Why must it so wrong...to love someone of the same gender? Especially if that someone is-' Luna's thoughts were cut off as she saw something that made her skin crawl.
Geo Stelar was walking hand in hand with none other than Sonia Strumm! Even worse, they were smiling at each other! It was enough to make Luna sick. However, it wasn't Sonia she was jealous of. It was Geo she envied.
'Damn you! Damn you, Geo Stelar! Damn you to hell!' Luna mentally cursed. Noticing the vicious look on their presidents' face, Zack and Bud quickly ran for cover. Pretty soon, Luna found herself stomping towards the smiling couple, her emotions under complete control.
"Shouldn't we do something?" Zack asked his friend nervously. Bud was about to say something, but the sight of Luna suddenly punching Geo hard across the face silenced him.
"Luna!" Sonia cried, shocked at her friend's sudden violent actions. Geo covered his now swollen cheek and shouted, "YOU BITCH! WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?"
Luna ignored Geo completely and turned to face Sonia. Slowly and gently, Luna placed her hands on Sonia's cheeks and pulled her in for a poassionate kiss on the lips. Everyone, both the students and the teachers, were frozen with silence as they watched the two girls seperate, leaving a trail of saliva behind.
Sonia's eyes seemed to be wide with horror as she lightly touched her lips, unsure of what just happened. Geo was the first to break the silence. "YOU...LUNA, YOU...YOU JUST KISSED...YOU'RE A LESBIAN!" Geo cried with a look of disgust.
Luna was glared at Geo and was about to respond when Sonia suddenly slapped her in the face. Her eyes pouring with tears and her body shaking, Sonia cried, "YOU...YOU...I HATE YOU, YOU FREAK!"
And with that, Sonia spun around and ran off. "Sonia, wait!" Geo exclaimed as he chased after her, leaving Luna feeling both guilty and disgusted with herself. Soon, the students began talking among themselves.
As Luna quietly headed back to her seat, whispers of "Dyke!" and "Filthy Lesbian!" reached her ears. By the time she sat back down, she was crying pretty heavily. "Why...why did I just do that...?" she asked herself.
Pretty soon, the final bell rang and everyone dashed out of their classrooms. Luna, however, stayed put in her seat for a few more seconds, thinking about how badly she upset Sonia.
'My dear, sweet Sonia...I'm...I'm so sorry...' Luna thought sadly as she broke out into tears again...
