Characters/Pairings: Harry, Draco, Drarry

His friends say it is unhealthy. He knows worry about him but he ignored them. He doesn't care what anyone thinks about him. They can say whatever they want. He sits in the Great Hall and in classes watching him instead of paying attention to the people talking to him. Even when he sits in the common room he stares at the Marauder's Map watching his name.

He does not know when feelings of hate turned into feelings of love. It made him believe that the muggle saying 'there is a thin line between love and hate'. However, he knew his feelings would never be returned so he remained silent and watched him from afar. He had thought that he was hiding his watching well, but he should have known better. He was a Slytherin after all.

When he confronted him, he was sure that the object of his crush would finally kill him. This assumption allowed him to tell the other boy the truth. For the first time he told him everything and did not lie. He told him how he had been watching him since fourth year. He told him how he did not want to fight anymore and had not since fifth year. He told him how he had realized he had fallen in love with him that same summer. He admitted to him how he did not believe his feelings would ever be returned. He begged him to just leave so he could kill himself because he could not live with his rejection.

He was shocked when his crush slapped him and then hugged him tightly. The boy he loved told him he could not die because then he would have nothing to live for. His blond angel told him that he had been watching him for just as long and that he too was tired of fighting. He told him that he did not need to cry anymore because he was loved and he always would be.

They both apologized for the things they had said and for everything they had done during all of the years they had known each other. They knew that it would take a while to heal the wounds caused by those words and actions. They also knew that it would take a lot of work before either of them fully trusted the other. Even though they knew how difficult it would be, they both promised to be faithful and to try to get the relationship to work. They both agreed that they would not keep it a secret and hide their feelings.

A lot of people were not happy when they made their relationship known the next day. Harry's friends stopped talking to him after they realized it was worthless trying to convince him to break up with Draco. Dumbledore had tried to force them to break up but that did not work out as he had planned. They knew what reporters were writing about them. They knew what the rest of the Wizarding World felt about them. They had to deal with the sneers and insults every time they went to Hogsmead together. They did not care, though, what everyone else thought.

Harry did not stop watching Draco though. In fact, he seemed to watch him even more now that they were together. He was sure that he would never tire of watching the beautiful blond. It always made Draco blush a lovely red when he caught Harry staring at him but he never told the brunette to stop. People did not understand why Harry watched the other wizard the way he did. They thought he was crazy and possessive to the point of being inappropriate. Some even thought he was abusing Draco. That made him angry because he would never even think of hurting Draco. Then there were those that said he was obsessed. He agreed with those people because before he was in love he was obsessed with Draco. Harry Potter did not care if the devil was at his back. He would forever and always be obsessed and in love with Draco Malfoy.
