Rain pelted the streets of Middleton, causing the local populace to seek cover under umbrellas, newspapers, or any other object they might be carrying. Not everybody conformed to the norm however; a dark haired, pale skinned teenager braved the storm only in jeans, gloves and a t-shirt. The teen walked a couple of blocks before stopping in front of the Possible residence. After scurrying through his pockets, he pulled out a crumpled sheet of paper and compared the address on the paper to the address on the house. Before he could approach the door, the honk of a car horn rudely interrupted his train of thought. The owner of the honking mini-van rolled down their window.
"Leroy, you're going to catch a cold standing outside in the rain" yelled Joyce Rockwaller motioning for Leroy to come inside the van. Leroy complied and stepped inside the mini-van.
"I thought you said Kim was going to be here by now" snapped Leroy in a raspy tone.
"Whoops did I say that, I meant to say that she would be leaving school around 2:40" Joyce said with a look of feigned ignorance. "No need to get all flared up though, I know you were Kim's best friend before you moved and you can't wait to see her again, but you know Bonnie stayed home today and she would really enjoy some company."
Leroy looked if he was going to explode, but then says in a calm tone "Ms. Rockwaller, I don't believe you are aware of the magnitude of your current situation. You have been catering to a recently escaped criminal, who is known for mastering the art of manipulation and you lie to him. That is not the worst part…the worst part is that you have just out lived your usefulness." Leroy lets his revelation sink in as he reveals the M9 he was hiding. Before Joyce could react, Leroy shoots her point blank in the face. He reaches into Joyce's pocketbook and fumbles around until he locates her cell phone, and proceeds to compose a text. It reads "Hey Bon-Bon mommy needs some alone time, so spend the night with one of your little friends." Leroy steps out of the van and decides maybe he would pay Bonnie a visit before he meets Kim. He smirks when he was through with Middletown the streets would run red with blood and he would leave Kim as broken and defeated as she left him.
