My third response to a WIKTT 100 Word SS/HG Mirror of Erised Challenge
*Fundraiser*
Albus Dumbledore needed the storerooms inventoried to select items for the August Hogwarts fundraiser. Severus was to separate out the dark arts artifacts; Hermione was to assess salability.
The tower stockrooms slowly turned sauna aided by summer sun. The twosome silently observing and jostling each other.
Many boxes later, a perspiring Snape stood before a large burlap covered object. "Miss Granger, I believe this is your department." Sweating, she stood close to the potions master yanking the cover off… the Mirror of Erised.
"GREAT MERLIN !"
"Is this what you…desire?" he nodded.
"And you?" she grinned.
Snape would thank the old man later.
