A/N: It's been a while since I last visited this account, and by "a while" I meant ages ago. I even forgot what the stories I uploaded here before were about. I had piles of half-baked fanfics that are waiting to be continued. So I decided to reopen my account again. To celebrate my return, I'd like to share a sonnet that I wrote for my sister while we were playing KH:BBS. Enjoy!
Shadows of Light
Both light and darkness inside his heart dwell
Opposing sides that discord and collide
A duel for dominance that none can quell
Forces his heart to struggle and divide
A mark of mastery he tried to gain
His dream and desire since his younger days
But then all his efforts were in vain
For he let darkness rule and changed his ways
Now anger and hatred consumed his heart
Cost him his father, his friends and his dream
I cannot let him drive himself apart
Gave up my freedom that I may save him
Though little the light inside him may be
So long as it shines, there's hope he'll be free
