A Heroine's Conflict

Sakura Haruno has been called weak all her life. As a girl, those words were painful to hear, as a shinobi, they were downright demeaning. Her current problem is this: She's only fourteen and she has already learned everything Tsunade can teach her, but she knows Naruto and Sasuke are still ahead of her. With permission, she goes on quest to discover her true strengths who she is.

1. Chapter 1

Tsunade's POV

"She's stronger than me." She said sipping on a cup of sake.

"How do you know?" Shizune asked.

"I just do..." This time she picked up the sake bottle and chugged. "It took me years just to master the slug jutsu-it only took her one, and her rivalry with Ino won't get her far any more. She's already surpassed Ino- with or without Yamaka techniques."

"I've hardly ever heard you talk so highly of a student."

"Are you jealous."

"Not really."

"Hmpf...besides-you were my only student for such a long time."

"Yes Lady Tsunade."
