Staring down at his brother's motionless face, it was hard for Dean Winchester to sit in the hard-backed chair. No matter how worried he was for Sam, it was impossible for him not to fidget. Moving around, counting the ceiling tiles, and even smoothing down the sheets on Sam's bed was not enough to distract him from the agony of seeing his baby brother so lifeless.

The ghouls had really done a number on the younger Winchester and it had taken quite a few stitches to put Sam back together. But, Dean's little brother was still unresponsive.

"I'm sorry, Sammy, I'm so sorry."
