A/N: This is a response to The Seasonal Prompt Drabble Challenge on the Harry Potter Fanfiction Challenges Forum.
Also I took the liberty of changing the Fall prompt to Autumn. Sorry it's me being so very English. :)
Spring..
She's like Spring he thinks suddenly.
Not because she's mediocre or because she's just somewhere in between, but because she reminds him of early mornings on rainy-sunshine days where the flowers are still in bloom and there are clear crystal rainbows burning through the sky.
She reminds him of under-appreciated, understated perfection.
Summer..
Molly loves the way that the summer heat makes it warm enough to go swimming in the lake, because Lysander gliding through the water with the sunshine dancing on his water-flecked skin is possibly the most glorious thing she has ever seen.
Autumn..
She twines her fingers with his when the autumn chill finally bites into her uncovered porcelain skin and laughs joyfully because where Lysander's teeth have slid through the redshinyred skin of one of the apples he's just picked from the tree overhead, there's a thin line of juice dripping down his chin onto the new coat he's just bought.
"Don't laugh," he pouts playfully at her, but she just pulls him down for a stickysweet kiss and thinks that he is going to be the most beautiful season of her life.
Winter..
He wakes up to snow on his windowsill and ice in his veins and realises that it was nothing more than a nightmare, because her warmth is right next to him (where he's going to make sure it always is).
There's no barren winter wasteland or outstretched hands that are just that little bit too out-of-reach and when he feels her pull him close to her he smiles because she just has this way of melting all of his fears away.
