Chapter 1: Him
"Come on guys get up." Zack screamed in his most excited voice. "Why."
I murmured back. Being in SOLDIER was not what I first expected im forced to
dress and act like a boy its annoying. "Zack its six a.m" a spiky blonde boy yelled
back. "Oh come on Cloud we are gonna be late and you two are new so you will be
in major trouble." Zack yelled back. "Fine" Cloud murmured as he got out of bed and
began looking for his uniform from the day before. "Zack why are you so happy about
this anyway?" I shouted from my bed. "You dont know its Sephiroth he is there to give
the briefing!" I sat on the bed thinking about who this guy was he seemed to be really
popular. Suddenly a bottle of powder flew and hit me "Get up Haruka!" Zack shouted
"With all you talking your gonna be late so get moving!" I quickly got out of bed and
ran to the bathroom only to hit Cloud on the way there. "Ouch!" we both shouted.
"Geez Haruka clumsy as ever I see." Cloud said while he was helping me get up.
Cloud was one year older than me but he never acted like he was superior. We
finished getting ready and walked down the main hall to get to the meeting room.
"I hope this Sephiroth guy is worth meeting." I exclaimed. "He is way better than you
could imagine Haruka" Zack whispered as we neared the room. We got in the room
and sat on the chairs on the front row. "Zack are these our seats?" Cloud asked
"Yes" Zack blurted out so loud it echoed in the whole room. An hour passed as the
of the SOLDIERS found their seats. " Zack im bored" I whispered. "Shhh" Zack
motioned. Suddenly a man with long silver hair walked out and caught everyones
attention. "All of you here today listen to the briefing for your next mission." he
said in a booming voice. I sat there looking at him and thinking he is different
than I first imagined. Soon the briefing was done and we all could return to our
rooms. On the way out Zack asked "So Haruka what did you think of him?"
I did not speak a word because my tail was wagging so hard it distracted me.
"Zack he is pretty awesome" Cloud chimed in. "He is different than I expected"
I said in a low tone. Halfway down the hall I noticed my jacket was missing. "Guys
I left my jacket im gonna go get it so go ahead to the room." the two nodded and
waved as we parted ways. I walked into the dank meeting room and saw Sephiroth
holding my jacket in his hand. I slowly approached "Sir may I have my jacket please?"
I quietly asked. "Its yours then take it." he said as he held it out to me. I reached up
and plucked it gently from his hands and began to walk out the door. "Thank you" I
said as I walked. Soon I noticed he was walking behind me. I slowly turned around.
"Is something wrong?" I asked. He simply said "I know who you really are Haruka."
as he walked past me and headed out the door. I stood there not moving as i watched
him walk down the hall. I felt myself blush as I thought abot his smile as he stated
he knew the truth.
