Harry sighs as he cleans yet another gash to his tormented knee. Quickly he pulls a bandage from his bag and covers the gash. He looks around before leaving the boy's restroom with a slight limp. The halls are empty which he is very thankful for. No one is around to push him into lockers. . He pulls off his tie, and heads for the football field his bag slung over one shoulder.

He reaches the field and quietly takes a seat in one of the stands. The players finish warm ups, and start to run laps. His family moved to this area a week ago. He is already familiar with the school bullies. Dan his brother is on the football team.

He is one of the taller brawny guys. His black hair is in a tangled windswept mess, even worse than Harry's. A boy runs right next to him. He is tall, thin, and refined, but still muscled. His blond hair almost white. Draco receives straight A's. His father is also a well known underworld figure head, not that anyone can prove it.

Dan's job is to get close to Draco, and somehow get into Malfoy manor to find some evidence. Harry is only at the school, because they needed him to get Dan in into the very elite school. Harry is a genius. He doesn't want anyone to know how smart he really is. The pressure that comes with being a high level genius, not to mention all the attention is not something he wants to deal with. He is happy being labeled as very smart for his age. Once he had gotten into the school he pretended that he was put in the right level. He is happy that he did not have to play those games that come with being a genius.

He never asked to be born smart. All it has ever brings him is trouble. His relationship with his brother had once been strained, because he would tell him about the bullies. Then Dan would beat them up, but he started getting tired of fighting Harry's fights. And their father did not like it either. So one day James told Dan to stop fighting for Harry, because Harry had to grow a back bone some day. So Dan stopped, and Harry stopped telling him about the bullies.

Harry sighs, and pulls out his notebook. Deep down he wants something more in life. Harry rubs his sprain swollen wrist that aches when he moves it. He rubs his leg as it starts to smart, and to make sure the blood isn't seeping through. He looks up as the whistle blows. Practice is over and he heads for the main entrance where Dan will meet him. He sits down with his back to the door and is a little bit surprise when he hears the door open only 10 minutes later. Usually Dan will hang out with his friends for a good 20 minutes more.

"So any improvement today." Asks Harry while writing in his notebook.

"Well, I think I played fine, but there is still room for improvement."

Harry freezes and mentally hits himself before turning around. Draco Malfoy looks down at him smirking slightly.

Harry frowns slightly. "I am sorry I thought you were my brother."

Draco laughs softly. "I am not sure if that's a compliment or an insult."

Harry raises an eyebrow at that. So Dan was not making as much progress with Malfoy as he said he was.

"No offense, but your brother is not the easiest person to get to know."

Harry nods, while letting a slim smile slip over his face.

A sleek black Rolls-Royce pulls up to the steps.

"Well, my rides here I did not catch your name." Said Draco.

"Harry."

Draco smiles sweetly. "Draco Malfoy I suppose I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!"

Draco steps into the car and it rolls away.

The door opens again and a group of loud voices come from behind him, Harry smiles slightly. He should have known he wasn't Dan just by the lack of noise.

Harry stands and leans against the wall as Dan finishes up his conversation with his friends..

"So how was school today cricket?" Asks Dan while ruffling his hair.

There is a 5 year age gap between them and a large personality difference.

"Alright being a 4th year isn't easy." Said Harry.

Dan just nods, then grins as the sound of squealing tires fills the air. A Red Lamborghini whips into view its wheels squealing at each sharp turn before pulling to a stop in front of the steps. A young man steps out of the car who can be Dan's twin.

"Dad! I didn't know you were picking us up today!" Said Dan smiling.

James smiles slightly. "Well, I thought we could drop Harry off and you could take the baby for a spin today."

Dan jumps in the air with a loud shout of "YES!" He grins and scrambles into the car next to James while Harry slides in next to him. It will be a short ride.

HHHHHHHHHH

Draco flips through the file in his hand, he is very careful about whom he chose's as his friends and Harry Potter was no exception. He raises an eyebrow as he read Harry's IQ then continues reading, the details are very slim seeing as how he isn't extremely important in the world but there are a few interesting details. The Potter family seems to love to travel a lot. Harry use to have panic attacks, but they had stopped about two years ago.

The Potters are well off. Harry is allergic to poppy seeds and needs to wear glasses if reading after a long time. James and Dan's eye sight is terrible, but both wear contacts. Harry Potter has a very normal life and that bothers Draco. There should be something in the family, a drinking problem, an illegitimate child, something but there is nothing. No deep dark secret that every family has, be it small or large. Draco gazes at a picture of Harry leaving the school.

HHHHHHHHHHH

Harry grabs a pre-made sandwich from the cafeteria and heads for the library, it iss his haven at the moment as no one else is ever here during lunch hour. With a content sigh, he sinks into an overstuff chair with a rather large book and he digs in. About 20 minutes later the clearing of a throat breaks his concentration. He glances up quickly to find a smirking Draco Malfoy looking down at him.

"I was hoping to ask you to join me for lunch, but since you've already eaten will you join me for dessert." Asks a smiling Draco.

Harry stares at him for a moment before slowly responding. "That's very nice of you Draco, but…"

"But…?" Draco has sort of a sad smile on his face.

Harry sighs and rubs his eyes. "Why do you want me to eat with you, and please be honest?"

Draco looks startled for a moment.

"I want to get to know you." Said Draco.

Harry eyes him skeptically. "Why."

Draco stares at him for a moment before leaning forward with a completely serious face. "I've never had a brother. I think you would be a very good one."

Harry is silent for a moment before nodding; he stands and places the book on a table.

"I hope you know you're paying."

Draco smiles sweetly. "What are big brothers for?"

Harry glances at him, but nods and follows him back to the cafeteria. Harry orders a sundae and sits down at the table with Draco and some of Draco's friends.

"Just in case you forgot I already have a big brother and he may not like you moving in on his turf." Said Harry while putting a spoonful of ice cream into his mouth.

Draco catches his wrist and Harry winces. "I don't think he's doing a very good job, and you need to have someone look at that."

Harry pulls his wrist from Draco's hand. "You haven't prove you can do any better, and my brother is human. He's allow to make some mistakes."

Draco merely smirks. "I am going to enjoy getting to know you Harry."

HHHHHHHHHHH

Dan watches his brother carefully from across the room; this was the third day that Harry sat with Malfoy. Things are getting out of hand; Harry is not suppose to be getting close to the target. Later that day, Dan pulls Harry in to an empty room and locks the door. He turns his head to stare at Harry.

"What are you doing?" Whispers Dan angrily.

"You are not to get close to the target, you could get hurt. You haven't had training." Said Dan.

"Draco approach me Dan what was I suppose to do. Besides he doesn't like you." Said Harry.

Dan let out a growl of frustration. "I know that, but he's an arrogant, stuck up a-.!"

"Maybe, but he's your assignment, and you are not doing too well so when he approach me. Now at some point he will most likely invite me to his home for a party, I'll make sure you get in and I can distract him while you look through his fathers office." Said Harry.

Dan stares at him for a moment before giving him a faint smile. "I always knew we would make a good team, I just thought you weren't old enough yet." Said Dan.

Harry unlocks the door. "I can do this Dan, don't worry."

Harry slips out the door and back into the hall, leaving Dan to wonder at how much his brother has change without him noticing.
