HEYO! This is my entry for swingdancer23's Dare Forum! Dare #1: CRACK PAIRING!

Warning: This is badly written because of the short amount of time I worked on it. :P

Every time he walked through the door and into the Ocarina Inn, Yolanda knew what he was going to order right before he sat down at a table.

Mushroom rice with green tea. Perry's favourite dish. The one he ordered every Saturday.

This Saturday was no different. The moment Yolanda heard the chime go off, she quickly started preparing his meal.

Rice, mushrooms, and tea leaves...boil the water, cook the rice...Yolanda said in her mind while cooking. But she didn't notice the navy-haired man watching her bustle around the kitchen, his golden eyes tracking all her moves.

Young Maya seemed to notice this. She looked back and forth between her grandmother and the Church pastor, clutching a sliver tray to her chest, and cocked her head in confusion. She tugged on her father's arm.

"Daddy..." she asked.

Jake nodded, not looking up from a book. "Yes, darling?"

"Why is Mr. Perry staring at Grandma like that? Is there something wrong?"

Her father lifted his head up to observe the scene, and chuckled at the sight.

Maya pouted. "Why are you laughing?"

"Because, your grandmother seems to have gained an admirer. I'm surprised someone would find an interest in that old bat, though..." he replied.

His daughter shrugged, satisfied with the answer and skipped off to help customers.

Perry had always found Yolanda an interesting person. Maybe it was her determination to get everything right, or maybe it was watching her rampage when she's angry over the smallest thing. Her pink locks reminded him of cotton candy, her blue eyes were as gorgeous as the sea, and her nose...her nose looked so round and soft and pillowy...

Perry saw her plump figure running around the kitchen, stirring pots, tasting food. He decided to tell her his feelings. He walked up to her, blushing.

"...Excuse me, Yolanda," he said.

"Can't you see I'm kind of b-" She turned around to face Perry, and mimicked his red-faced expression. "Oh, hello there, Perry."

"Good afternoon...um, may I talk to you for a second?" He noticed Maya and Jake leaning over the desk, trying to eavesdrop. "Alone."

The pair walked outside together, feeling quite awkward.

"Well, what would you like to say to me? I don't have all day, you know," Yolanda asked impatiently.

"Um...I-I wanted to say that...I...love you..." Perry stuttered while looking down.

Yolanda was shocked to hear this. Her eyes bugged out of their sockets. When the man saw her expression, he stared at his feet again.

"O-oh, well...I'm sorry I wasted your time..."

"Wait! No, you didn't. I was just surprised...to hear this from the man I love."

Perry raised his head slowly. He examined Yolanda's face for any sign of joking. When he found none, he smiled widely, took her hand and walked back inside.

WHOA THAT TOOK FOREVER TO WRITE. Not because it was hard or long (that's what she said XD) or anything, because I get distracted easily. I wanted to write more, but I have to go to sleep. *grumble...*

Ugh this pair is so...revolting. xD

I tried to make it funny, but...yeah. XD FAIL on my part.
