Wherever you'd go, I'd follow. Whenever you were hurt, I'd heal. I think that was the deal we wordlessly kept between ourselves. I'd always be your sidekick, ready for whatever challenges that fate would put upon us. Ready for however you'd travel through Ivalice.
I was always in the background, but I never minded. Just to taste the future, to mend it and affect it was a power I had never dreamed of wielding. With you, it was possible to do whatever you willed us to do.
The people we hung around...Besides Larsa, they were double our age and worldly-versed. They had seen what it was like outside the confines of simple Rabanastre. We had never even comprehended taking a trip out of it, much less to the city of Bhujerba nor beyond.
We met pirates, royalty, and leaders. Together, you, I, and the rest forged a new future. Dalmasca was restored, and its ruler instated. Even with whatever formalities we had, we could recall our Queen as fellow adventurer "Ashe". Once near-beggars, we had become the founders of the new, peaceful Ivalice.
What lies beyond the horizon for us, especially when we're aware of the places outside Rabanastre? Do we go deep into Rozarria? Through Archades? Or, do we remain ever-occupying our home city? Somehow, I doubt one place will keep you there for too long.
And that's when I'll follow.
Whatever is ahead, we'll be together to face it.
