AN: I was inspired to write this after seeing a certain scene recently after completing the game. This fic does contain spoilers.

It was another normal day in the town of Rhoan. The sky was cloudy and gloomy, and some of the citizens of the town wondered if it was going to rain or not. Anwar stood in the back alley like he normally did, waiting for a certain girl to arrive. And as he did, he was forced to listen to something. It didn't matter how far he walked, he couldn't escape the voices.

The voices in the sword were getting stronger and stronger with each passing moment. The desert swordsman knew what this meant; the sword was going to take him over again. And he would once again lose his heart.

Though he promised to protect someone with the blade he carried, he might have to rethink that thought. Anyone who wields the blade ends up losing themselves to it, becoming a heartless killing machine. The wielder becomes a cold, callous person who wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone.

The purple haired young man closed his golden eyes, knowing that it wouldn't be long until the sword claimed him once again. He refused to lose his heart again, not just after getting it back.

There was only one way that he could get out of this mess. Anwar was going to ask Tia, a girl to whom he pledged his eternal love, to do something very important. It would be simple to anyone who held the blade that he had wielded in his hands.

He was going to ask her to kill him. However, he knew there was a strong possibility that she would deny his request.

The orange haired girl, Tia, had a kind heart. She was nice to him back in the desert, even though he was one of the people who kidnapped her. He didn't understand the reason why, especially when he told her time and time again that he was heartless, and it was useless to talk to him. Whatever her reasons were at the time, he was grateful, because thanks to her, his heart was restored once again.

He wanted it to stay that way. That was why Anwar was going to ask her to take his life. If she said no, he would understand, but would insist it. After all, it's bad enough to lose your heart once. To lose it a second time would be unbearable, and this time there would be no turning back.

He was going to leave it up to Tia, the girl he loved and the chosen user of the Book of Prophecy. If anyone could save him, it was her. Only she could save Anwar from the cursed sword.
