This was a oneshot that I did and I kind of wanted to see what other people thought of it. Enjoy.

"You're still weak." The voice was mocking, taunting him. Challenging him.
Sasuke tightened his grip on the kunai, and tried to win over control of his emotions. However, his body betrayed him upon hearing Itachi's voice. Holding the kunai to his face, Sasuke hurled the weapon smoothly.
However, to his surprise, his opponent made no move to dodge it. On the contrary, his antagonist moved en route for the weapon. The tool burrowed itself deeply into Itachi's side, forming a fatal gash which surged blood.
Is it an illusion?
A clone?
Sasuke watched his childhood hero fall to the ground. Nothing followed after that for while but silence and unspoken words.
Nii-san?
"Why didn't you dodge it?" Sasuke managed, his body trembling. He couldn't bring himself to look at Itachi.
Itachi smiled, bitterly. "Why did you throw a kunai you knew I could dodge, nii-san?"
Sasuke flinched at the sound of those words.
"I learned something Sasuke. Those very eyes that you and I have, the ones that were praised throughout Konoha, blinded us from what we really wanted."
"You gave up the right to call me your brother a long time ago. My brother died with the rest of the clan, and you killed him." Sasuke's voice was vague, his eyes lost. "Get the fuck up."
The wound was tremendously deep and Itachi's eyes grew duller with the minute.
"There's no reason for me to be alive anymore." He said inaudibly, almost to himself. Then he lifted his gaze toward Sasuke. "You let me control you. When I spared your life, you lived only to end mine. Through that, you became me."
You're wrong.
Sasuke wanted to scream, to correct him. But no words came out, and he simply waited, listening.
"You left your village behind as well as your team. Somewhere along there, you left yourself." Itachi struggled to form words through the searing pain. He reached forward, lightly tapping Sasuke's forehead. "This is the last time."
Brother! You said you would help me with shuriken practice.
Sasuke held his breath.
I'm busy, ask father.
He felt something wet fall down his cheek and his legs betray him. Sasuke collapsed next to Itachi.
But you're better at it. Even I know that!
Sasuke found that his anger was directed toward himself. Everything Itachi said was right. Prodigies tended to do that.
Some time later, okay?
Itachi made no movement and Sasuke wondered if he was still alive. Sasuke was no longer in control of his body. He felt himself move toward his brother and press his ear against Itachi's chest.
Thump. Thump.
It was soft and weak. Sasuke realized for the first time how human Itachi was. How real this was. How differently he had thought of this moment.
"Not here." Sasuke murmured. "Not like this."
He felt so weak.
You're weak because you lack hatred.
He wanted Itachi to give everything back to him. And yet, Sasuke knew Itachi never took anything away from him. He gave it up.
He clutched Itachi and curled up slightly.
I'm scared.
The pride and arrogance was gone, leaving Sasuke with nothing.
